getting bixlered- the preterite tense of the more common verb "Bixlering" which refers to the act of disappearing without alerting your peers or friend group. The term "getting bixlered" refers to that moment when a friend, acquaintance or peer mysteriously disappears unexpectedly and unannounced only to turn up later unfazed. The verb can be used in many different forms. For example: To bixler, the act of disappearing unannounced into the night within a foreign city only to return hours later, once again unexpectedly.

The term refers to the late Thomas Bixler, who was known across the land for disappearing and then later revealing himself. Mr. Bixler was believed to be in some sort of secret organization or had special training unbeknownst to his peers whom he attempted to blend in with.

Me: Hey Thomas you down to hit up the bar tonight?
Thomas: Yeah sure whatever man.
Me: And im not in the mood for getting bixlered tonig....
Me: Thomas?
Me: (to group) damn it. We just got bixlered.

A word for drunk. Bixed applies to when you're so drunk you don't remember the name of the girl/guy you may or may not have kissed at the party last night which itself may or may not have happened. Derived from the popular breakfast cereal "Weetabix" which (much like alcohol) shouldn't be consumed in large quantities.

Bikelist

(Pronounced: 'bike-a-list') - Someone who rides a bicycle for both leisure and commuting purposes but with no understanding of or total disregard for the rules of the road/traffic laws. One who doesn’t use the proper hand signals when turning/slowing/stopping. A person who does not wear a helmet (or wear it properly). A person who chooses to act as a pedestrian when it suits him/her (i.e. riding on sidewalks, pathways, etc.). Someone who was simply given a bike by their parents and taught no rules or considerations.

Opposite of: Cyclist (– Someone who rides a bicycle for both leisure and commuting purposes while observing the rules of the road/traffic laws (very similar to those of motorized vehicles). One who pays close attention to his/her surroundings while riding and is respectful to the balance between vehicular and cyclist traffic. Some one who is fed up with having bikelists give them a bad reputation.)

Tom: "Look at that asshole over there. Riding his bike on that busy sidewalk."
