A play on words combining two terms:

1. Brokeback Mountain, a movie about two homosexual sheep herders who become involved in a relationship that must be kept secret due to societal standards and well as their own safety.

2. Bareback, a term for unprotected anal sex.

It has become insanely played out joke, told usually in offices and other places of work by that unfunny guy who gets all his jokes from mailing lists.

Barracks Rat

Military slang for a soldier who in spite of being sent to a choice duty like Germany (PARTY PALACE OF THE EUROPEAN COMMAND) decides to stay in the barracks wasting valuable youth, life experience and a helluva good time out "on the economy". Usually they are young soldiers who are so far away from home for the first time.

Damn dude, here it is Octoberfest, and Hammond won't leave his room, what a barracks rat.
