Avenging Wallflower

Primarily, a basic wallflower who displays a general persona of demure incapability, but is in fact, one of great physical and technical prowess. Generally possess' a vast amount of unheralded, unseen power and go out of their way to be meek and unassuming, at least until a dramatic confrontation of any kind occurs in their vicinity. Whenever any sort of oppressive or aggressive humans (Bullies, jerks, thugs, etc.) are near by and active, they will feel an unholy compulsion to leap into action, screaming and laying waste to all who oppose them with their incredible skills, simply to interfere in the situation and thereby feel that they've done something significant. After they have annihilated any and all participants, they will return to their previous passive state.

Second Avenue Subway

An improvement of New York City's public transportation that has been desperately needed since it was first proposed in 1919, the Second Avenue Subway still inspires manic laughter and searing anger in many at its mere mention. Persons living on the East Side are, naturally, most susceptible to such fits as they are psychologically unbalanced from riding the city's most overcrowded and unreliable subway line on Lexington Avenue. New Yorkers may recall that this line was promised some 50 years ago as a replacement for the decommissioned elevated trains on the East side; some may even recall the $500 million bond issue approved in 1951 for its construction that rapidly disappeared into the black hole of kleptocracy that is the New York City government. More colossally embarrassing than even Boston's Big Dig, the Second Avenue Subway, which will supposedly be constructed by 2011, may yet come to pass and restore the hopes and dreams of millions of Americans. The more likely possibility, however, given Mayor Michael Bloomberg's judgment that the city's most pressing transportation problem is that residents of Queens don't have easy access to an imaginary stadium on the West Side, is that the Second Avenue Subway will remain the unicorn for New Yorkers who have been screwed for over 50 years.

Avenge

Here follows the definition of the words avenge and revenge + the difference between avenge and revenge.

Both words are about repaying a wrong. The differences between them have to do with grammar and shades of meaning, though there is considerable overlap in meaning, dictated by usage over time. Grammatically speaking, avenge is a verb only; revenge is a verb and more usually a noun. Avenge traditionally relates not only to repaying a wrong but to getting justice on somebody else's behalf as a remedy for that wrong. Revenge traditionally relates to getting even with an adversary by inflicting punishment or harm.

Though both avengeand revenge can be used as transitive verbs with reflexive pronouns, revenge is commoner in this use: The dictatorship avenged itself on the partisans' radio station by burning it to the ground; As a victim of a hate crime, she finally avenged herself on the perpetrators.
They vowed to avenge their sister's murder (or their murdered sister).

In an act of revenge for the bombing of our ship, our navy shelled the terrorists' training camps; Bands of irregular soldiers set out to revenge their leader's assassination.
