This behavior is typical among loser guys who would not dare to look a girl straight into her eyes in real life. Characteristic traits of these guys is adding random girls whom they rarely know as 'friends' on social networking sites, liking and commenting on every activity of the girl and stalking the girl till she removes the guy from her friends' list.

An easy way to identify a person exhibiting themanism is checking out their recent activity on social networking sites. Their activities would usually consist of status messages targeting girls and comments only on girl's profiles.

Dude, Jack exhibits typical themanism. He 'likes' Julie's status which reads PMS is the worst a girl can go through!

Gosh, this guy is a typical theman. He updates his status message on Facebook every ten seconds with random songs to convey a message about how lonely he is without a girl friend.
