A form of outrageous and populist politics or an electoral campaign with no material substance but continues to gain support. Typically initiated by first time or political outsiders with few resources against the establishment using fear, half truths, instantly changeable and populist policy to gather media attention and popular appeal. Is divisive, plays to emotion with promises that change with time.

2. The vapid onslaught of commentary on behalf of Trump's minions after attempting dissemination of information that contradicts his agenda (also known as "the truth").

Trumpolining is when someone points out something pretty diminishing about you so you bounce back with a completely irrelevant fact that shouldn't make any difference and people side with you anyway.

(verb) to claim or assert without evidence, by someone in a position of power, that someone has done something illegal or wrong. Usually done for or political purposes or part of a larger propaganda campaign.

A portmanteau of Trump and alleges.

President Trump trumplleges that Obama wiretapped his phones during the 2016 elections.

President Trump trumplleges that millions of illegal immigrants voted for Democrats during the 2016 in an attempt to explain his loss in the popular vote.

Despite being led by a lifelong republican, and multiple indictments and guilty pleas, President Trump trumplleges that the special investigation by Robert Mueller is a witch hunt.
