Gonzo Pornography

A type of pornography that attempts to place the viewer directly into the scene via a POV camera angle. John Stagliano is considered the father of Gonzo pornography, starting the style with his "Buttman" series. The name comes from Gonzo Journalism, invented by Hunter S. Thompson, which places the author into the story. Very strange that the current top definition denies this when the freaking name should make it completely obvious that yes, the POV angle is integral to the style.

You probably shouldn't post a definition of gonzo pornography if you know so little about it that you deny that the POV camera view is required for it to be called "gonzo".

gonzo photography

Gonzo photography refers to images and photographic attitude where the photographer takes an overt part in the scene by introducing his body, either by touching the subject or by being the subject himself rather than being a passive observer.
Gonzo photography has virtually no editing, frequently employing a rough style and a basic technique with low profile photo hardware.

I can see the photographer inside the scene, it is pure gonzo photography!

Mosh Photography

The delicate art of (trying) to take pictures of a band, most often the frontman, while in the mosh pit. Something that people with compact cameras have to undergo because only from close upfront can they ever get a chance at a decent shot. However there they have to deal with the moshers, constant bumping, pushing, jumping, combined with your camera moving, the singers moving, and crappy light conditions..

"man i was doing some mosh photography last night at a gig, my camera nearly flew out of my hand! "

model photography

A term used by people who have no clue about photography and all its genres. The person usually is only interested in taking "cool" pictures for their model mayhem and MySpace accounts and has no clue about the world of advertising, galleries, or culture. The term is best overused when dropping the word "model" multiple times to show the photographerators self perceived coolness.

"I'm on model mayhem and I do model photography with models and I have a question about how to load my film in my digital camera so I can do a TFCD with a model and junk, you know?"
