Teacher: Sure but, only for vocab no texting or calling anyone.

Phonely

The feeling you get when everyone around you is on their phone doing stuff but you don't have yours due to it dying/broken/forgotten/inadequate, so you want everyone else to stop being on theirs,

*whole group on phones except for Liz*
Liz: Hey guys, I'm feeling pretty phonely right now.

*group gets the hint and puts them away so they can have a real conversation*

What happens when you're stapling something and the staple doesn't completely penetrate to the other side of the document, resulting in a staple that has ends bent looking like a wired phone.
