It’s a bad word that germans used against immigrants with a southern appearance especially the Middle East, Turks, North Africans, Iranians and Afghans. Today we use it among us, just like when black people call other black people the n-word.

Translated: „you fucking kanack haha”
„geht zurück in euer land ihr drecks kanaken”
Translated: „Go back to your country you dirty kanacks.”
