A word used in Northern Australia to describe a person or object as being of a homosexual nature

Often replaces the word "fag"

Heyworths are often found around Gay Bars in Darwin such as "Throb"

The origin is not known, but has been in wide usage since the mid to late '90's

"Shut the fuck up heyworth"
"Oi stop being such a heyworth and do some work"
"I was out in a club and this heyworth tried to chat me up"
