Emotives are symbols, phrases, or images used to emotionally motivate people. They can be negative or positive, but it depends on what motivation or response is desired from the viewer or listener. They can cause emotional pain or happiness and can be used to manipulate others into action or make them experience despair.

After viewing negative emotives last night, Bill fell into a deep depression.

emotive

brought up in the mid 20's by EMO people to answer questions which they cannot answer, it is a nologistic word... means It has a special meaning to EMOs... specifically refering to expression of emotion.

cant put an example because it's not yet an acceptable term ok? there is no such term as EMOTIVE
