Black preps are what most white people (and some blacks) would call an oreo or comfussed. Other white preps would say we come from "new money" and technically, it's true. Black people traditionally dont come from money but if they do they are either preppy or just a "rich ghetto person". It's sad to say but it's the truth.
now I myself would be considered a black prep and yes in my circle I would be seen as the black girl with 4 white girls and i'm fine with that because no one cares!
Also, that saying "all preps go to prep schools" is crap because yes I was in a very good pivate school from pre-school all the way up to 6th grade I'm in public school now (actually one of the best in my town) Black preps generally do wear lilly and ralph lauren (A MUST) and the girls always wear coach hats, scarfs, and summer shoes.
I am also what you would call a southen black prep and for us if your black and a true prep you are most deffinatly a member of Jack and Jill, (if your a black prep you know what that is), your daddy plays golf (and can hold his own on the course), and your younger and older brother(s) play golf and/or tennis and are good at it. You should be part of some sort of lake club that has a golf course and tennis courts.
For girls it's important to be a very presentable southern bell and when you are 16 (sometimes 17) you are to be presented at a coutillion that your mother is very active in. when you pick your escort it is very important for that guy to be good looking and to have alot going for him. his profile should sound something like this: Winston Gandy III is a Senior at the Lovett School and is planing to attend either Harverd University, Howard University, the University of North carolina at Chapel Hill, or Princeton University. He is the captin of his Lacrosse team and is a member of AJGA (Atlanta Junior Golf Association) Today he will be escorting Lauren Cofield. It is very important that your escorts profile dosnt overshadow yours.

Get the Black prep mug.Notre Dame Prep girls have the coolest personalities. We're super fun, and we appreciate good food. ESPECIALLY when it's churro day in the cafeteria. We are also some of the most sporty people around. When we're not beating Maryvale at a lax or field hockey game, were found practicing day in and day out at our desired sport. which is why we have terrible sleep schedules and come into school the next morning looking dead. But that's okay because we're always prepared with the Starbucks iced coffee we brought into school. Despite being tired ALL THE TIME, Notre Dame girls always have a ready-for-anything attitude! We also have an everlasting OBSESSION with Loyola boys because they are HOT. You will often find an NDP girl at a mixer shoving a Maryvale girl out of the way to get to a Loyola boy.

Get the Seton hall prep mug.Devon Prep is a school I once attended in Devon, PA. I came there from public school durin g sixth grade and transferred out this year during eigth grade.
I came from public school. At first the school seemed great. However, eventually the annoying uniforms and racist kids at the school wore me down over time. They were incomprehensibly more rude and socially backwards than anyone at public schools. They were 100 times more immature than anyone I had ever met at public school. They never were in short supply of a racial slur or sexual joke. Each time they met a girl they talked about it for hours as if a nuclear bomb had just gone off.
As for their relationship with Malvern Prep, I really rolled my eyes at my classmates' stupidity. We viewed them as sports "rivals" despite the fact that we lost to them in nearly every single sport every time. (By alot.) Malvern, however, it seems is not much better since it is basically all boys with also uniforms, however I do have to credit it since it has a great sports complex and its athletic teams are really good, genrally. The teachers at Devon were worse than in public school.
And if you think, god fobid, that I am another Malvern kid here to slam Devon, trust me. Lol I have nothing to do with their rivalry and nothing to gain from it. This is a public school kid's viewing, honest and nothing else from someone who was in the school.
The only reason for all of the immature gay slurs going back between Malvern and Devon is the fact that the two schools are all boys. Therefore, the social enviornment that exists is basically one where everyone is soccially insecure and there is a constant inquisition to root out and find out whos gay, so that you yourself are not accused and therefore socially tarnsihed when in fact no one is gay and more could be accomplished by simply being friends and working together positively.
As for those at Devon, peace out and I'm doing great back at public school.
