Mother Watch Duties

A nautical term for looking after everything else on the boat whilst the other "watch" are sailing it.

Includes: cooking, cleaning the deck(s), cleaning the bilge(s), cleaning the head(s) otherwise known as the toilets, general boat maintenance and sleep.

Steve: "Is Johno sailing the boat today?"

Bernie: "No, he's on Mother Watch Duties"

Snatch-Watch

To be on 'snatch-watch' is to assume or be assigned the responsibility of notifying a friend that her vagina is showing because her dress (which she knew was risky, pre-going out) has risen up.

A girl emerges from a cab. A second turns her legs to step out. The first girl alerts the second of her exposed lady parts. Sometimes by yelling "snatch-watch"

Girl 1: That's super cute. You have to wear it!
Girl 2: Fine. But you're on snatch-watch tonight.

The act of watching TV and playing on your phone/computer in such a way that by the end of the episode, you realize you haven't actually watched any of it.

"The usual: just not-watched The Following"

using a playlist to measure time.

instead of using a watch i just use my ipod's playlist because i know each song is 2:00 long and that would mean i need enough of those songs to fill 30 minutes.

"ugh i need to go for a jog."
