Poorgeoisie

A fashion/lifestyle trend that originated in the USA, mainly in New York City (although one can see it anywhere).

Basically, when the economy tanked, many affluent people felt guilty about their overtly rich lifestyle. So, they still spend money like it's going out of style, but in order to look like a starving artist. It's easy to think the poorgeoisie resemble hipsters.

Keep the five o'clock shadow & loose the suit. Ditch the Lexus/BMW & ride public transit while listening to music on your iPhone. Instead of a polo, wear a guayabera shirt. Scuff up your white trainers. Never talk about your high paying job. No one can blame you for the second great depression now, you poorgeoisie entrepreneur/banker.

the poorest of the poor, includes hoodrats, white trash, scrubs, people from all backgrounds, all the whiners and gibesmedats, all the welfare recipients, and the ones that want free money and govt tax funded programs, people with no jobs, people living in basements, the uneducated - its a big broad category - some dumb people may also spell it as peek poor

Did you see Tyrone brag about driving his 2002 BWM, the guy doesnt even have a job, all he does is try to hustle fake DVDs at the gas station, he is peak poor.

Have fun staying poor

Have fun staying poor is used by the bitcoin community to warn against altcoin scams like ethereum or the US dollar. It can also be used to end a discussion with a bitcoin critic by pointing out the critic is not worth explaining bitcoin to. The phrase is in a way a goodbye and a wish that the person that doesn't get bitcoin will at least have fun during the period that they stay poor. Thet phrase is often used in a shortened version like "Have" or even "H".

Bitcoin critic: "Bitcoin is not scarce because it is infinitely divisible"
Bitcoiner: "H"

Your dumb friend: "I invested some money in cryptocurrencies."
Bitcoiner: "Have fun staying poor!"

poor in spirit- brokenhearted, lowly, poor, abused, used, the miserable people, the suicidal, depressed, downcast, the upset, the angry, the dirty, the prostitutes, the scumbags, the drunks, the druggies, the crack heads, the smokers, the losers, the pot heads, the churches, the schools, the governments, the people that think they got it, the people who think they don't, the people who think they got it, and the people who think they do, and the people who think they got it, and the people think they do, and the people who think they got it, and the people who think they don't. Oh, and did I say for sure the people who think they don't have anything, they for sure have it.....because they for sure have the kingdom of heaven, cause they do! <3 I know for sure they do.
