A paradigm of computing focused on creativity—using computational systems not just for calculation, automation, or optimization but for genuine creative expression and innovation. Creative Computing would combine AI's generative capabilities with human creativity in new ways: systems that collaborate with humans in creative work, that generate novel ideas for human refinement, that expand the space of what's creatable. The frontier where computers stop computing and start creating.

Goldilocks Complex

A state of aggressive entitlement where an individual treats the labor and property of others as a personal service, becoming dissatisfied when things aren't "just right" while taking zero responsibility for the disruption they cause. Unlike a Victim Complex (where the person wants pity for being "hurt"), a Goldilocks Complex involves a person acting like a high-maintenance houseguest in a house they don't own, eventually "hopping out the window" to avoid the consequences of their actions.

Goldilocks Complex:

"This coffee is too bitter. Why didn't anyone get the medium roast? It’s just not right for my morning routine. I can’t work like this."

Dynamic-Complex Mechanics

The synthesis of dynamic and complex systems approaches, treating phenomena as both constantly changing and emergent from many interactions. It's the study of how evolving systems—economies, ecosystems, civilizations—produce patterns that are neither fully deterministic nor purely random, requiring tools from chaos theory, network science, and nonlinear dynamics. Dynamic-complex mechanics asks how systems adapt, learn, and transform over time, and how their internal dynamics produce the structures that then constrain further dynamics. It's the most complete framework for understanding systems that are both in motion and made of many moving parts.
