a seemingly cold and aloof person, who often feels too much, has probably been hurt multiple times, has trusted the wrong people too much to become the wrong person, so when he starts to realize that someone likes, or feels good about someone or starting to feel love towards him, pushes him away, for fear of getting sick. She is right not to trust, but sometimes she doesn't think about how the other person might feel, but she needs to be understood.
