Vollhorst

is a german insult which translated means "idiot" or "jackass".

It's origin comes from the german name "Horst".
As all people named "Horst" are really jackasses and look really spastic, the name "Horst" became a german insult, and "Vollhorst" is like "bigger jackass".

email volley

When you have a back-and-forth email "conversation" with someone, and each of you keeps adding to the quoted thread with new information. The email go back and forth like a long-lasting volly during a volleyball game.

"We finally straightened out our misunderstading with an email volley. Of course, if I had just called her, we could have done it in a few seconds."

Circle Volleyball

The object of the ball is to hit the ball as many times as possible without the ball touching the ground. There is no specific type of ball requirement. A group of two or more people gathers in a circular shape. One person throws the ball up in the air, shouting ONE. The person who hits the ball next shouts TWO. People keep hitting the ball until it hits the ground. Once the ball hits the ground, the game must be restarted, with the counting beginning at ONE.

The whole circle counts as single team, united my the common purpose of getting more hits on the volleyball than they previously did.

Circle volleyball can be played on a variety of different surfaces, including grass and sand. There is no one correct hit.

Kid#1: Let's play circle volleyball.

Kid#2 & Kid#3: Sure!!!

Kid#1: (throws ball up in air) ONE!

Kid#2: (hits ball up, using classic volleyball pose) TWO!

Kid #3: (spikes ball downward) THREE!

ALL: NOOO!!!

Kid #1: Now, we have to restart counting.
