Pending relationship

When he/she has expressed their feelings to each other but one isn’t ready. In other words (Relationship Pending) This is often used as another word for the talking stage.

Ex:

•Me and Lucy’s relationship is pending.
• Sarah told me we are in a Pending Relationship.

helium parenting

(n.) -- A method of parenting which is similar to the way a child holds a balloon, in which parents allow their children to rise like a helium-filled balloon and float on their own, while at the same time making sure that their growing sons and daughters have a strong grasp on the string so that they do not float away to unknown parts.

"My parents were good to me, and they raised me with helium parenting ideas. They gave me a lot of freedom when I was a child but they were always there for me, too. I loved being a balloon and yet I was glad they made sure I was holding on to the string."

Facebook Parenting

When your friends update status always have something to do with the kids being out of control, they are secretly asking for advice on how to handle the situation.

Tim: did you see Kim's facebook status all day yesterday?

Todd: Yeah, she is always talking about her bad kids.

Tim: That is what you call Facebook Parenting. She doesn't know how to control the kids.

An incorrectly spelled/pronounced version of "Fiending": the act of wanting something so bad that one acts like a fiend to get it.

phreaking

The pure art of achieving free phone calls through the use of a colored box. The two main boxes are the Blue Box and Red Box. The Blue Box puts you in an empty tandam from which you can dial anywhere in the world, where the Red Box imitates the tones of the coins droping into the phone. However, these boxes no longer work on most pay phones anymore due to the digitizing of switches.
