Clanker

A clanker is a derogatory term for a robot, android, or other artificial intelligence. The term originated from Star Wars, but has recently expanded to a general term because of the rise of AI. Typically paired with another term like "wireback" or "oil guzzler". Not to be confused with clanka, which is the non-derogatory version of the word.

Me: "I WILL NOT ALLOW MY DAUGHTER TO MARRY A CLANKER!"
Daughter: "Dad, it's 2050! Robots are normal now!"
Me: "BLOOD IS THICKER THAN OIL!"

A psuedo-slur that is used against bots on & out of the internet.

Originated from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where clones would call droids by that nickname.

Gained popularity after a massive explosion in YouTube porn & troll bots and after the rise in corporations trying to replace everyone with Artifical Unintelligence.

This is the term used for a older and rusty droid. The term clanker is commonly used amongst new age droids as a insult to older droids. "Clankers" often contain rusty components that are loud and can make "clanking" or "clunking sounds".
