1 - When a club or group is created with no intentions or few members.
2 - When a club creator has high hopes for a club, which none of the members care for.
Named after the anime, "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya".

1: "It seems no one is joining that new science club. I don't even know what they do!"

2: Person A - "The club leader wants us to meet everyday after school!"
Person B - "I don't even care about this club! Talk about an SOS Brigade effect!"

uggady boogady is an informal interjection that can be used in any number of situations.

1. used to express surprise

2. used to express distaste

3. used to express aggitation/triumph

"Dude, look at that chick over there." "What the one that weighs like 500 lbs.?" "Yeah." "Uggady boogady!"

While playing basketball a player stuffs the shot of an opponent while screaming "uggady boogady!"

Or just randomly screaming "uggady boogady!" to incite fear or panic in any mundane public situation.

bad back brigade

A member of the scrounging classes who refuses to work, the reason for which is due to having a "bad back" from a mysterious work-related accident that didn't actually happen. A dole scrounger, a lazy git who will not work.

Typical bad back brigade member: "I've got a bad back so I can't work".

Goat Brigade

An odd-lot collection of sots, one-offs and rogues who miraculously find each other. Unable to relate to society-at-large, they're at least able to bond with each other as a group.

Jed: Wow! I didn't think Applebee's would be so crowded...and what's up with all the braying sounds?!
Raoul: It's the Goat Brigade -- must be bowling night.
Ned: Goats!!
Raoul: Verdad!

Prawn Sandwich Brigade

A term coined by Roy Keane, the Manchester United (football club) Captain at the time. It refers to the 'fans' that go to watch United play at Old Trafford but who actually know nothing about football or United and are only there because United are a very successful team and they want to jump on the social bandwagon of supporting Manchester United.
They will hardly cheer the team on, barely watch the game and be more interested in eating the prawn sandwiches at half-time in the posh player's lounge or wherever (hence the name). They are a minority of United fans, it has to be added, but there are still quite a lot of them.
They will also usually be middle-class and social-climbers, and they are sometimes referred to as the P.S.B

Q. What do you call the glory-supporting, bandwagon-jumping-on socialites that know nothing about football and Manchester United but still go to the games?

A. The Prawn Sandwich Brigade.
