1) A term used for people who are in a zone way above friend zone but are not actually in a relationship .Devised by the guys who are afraid of commitment.Here the participants are more than friends but are both afraid of drama and expectations .However they behave exaclty like a couple.

2)The term can also be used if someone wants to be close to somebody but dont want all the associated drama of a full fledged relationship because of uncertaininity of one of the paftners.Here the other partner needs flexibility of running away if other motherfucker does something dumb.

Popularised by dumbfucks who cannot decide about their life and are always ready to blame other people for their shitty behaviour.
