Schrodinger's Marmite

Something that you love and hate at the same time, like Schrodinger's cat which existed in a state of being both alive and dead. The quantum superposition of the two emotions (love and hate) may collapse at some point in the future.

Schrödinger's Virgin

In accordance to the thought experiment devised by the Austrian physicist Erwin Schrodinger, the schrodinger´s virgin is the individual who cannot prove their first act of sexual intercourse due to a lack of tangible evidence. That is, he finds himself in a quantum superposition as a result of a subatomic event that may or may not have occured.

Schrödinger's Cat

To add to Nope4810's definition...

"Schrödinger's Cat is actually so complicated that even though I tried to explain it in the simpliest terms I could, I made no sense."

...Don't worry. The analogy is supposed to not make sense. Schrödinger was trying to illustrate how absurd it is to apply quantum mechanics on a macro scale.

Schrödinger's Cat is a deliberately confusing analogy trying to show how absurd the theory behind it actually is.

Schrödinger's crap

When you feel a rumbling in your rectum but you'll never know if it's a fart or a poo until you "open the box" by which time the death mass has already been released. Thus, it exemplifies the graceful paradox of the traditional Schrödinger's Cat, yet manages at the same time to make it more accessible to the common person.

1. In order to fart you need to eat, but once you eat you might need to poo instead, so you never can be sure whether you're going to want to fart or poo. This is an eloquent summary of the tragic human condition which can be abbreviated to "Schrödinger's crap".

2. I can't decide whether I want to go to see Harry Potter or Casino Royale. I'll probably know after I sit down in the theater. It's a Schrödinger's crap.
