cotterize

To temporarily bind up a wound with split-shanked metal pins.

I can see someone's needing to cotterize a tear in sheet-metal or other fairly-tough-material paneling when making an emergency repair, but I would think that using a needle and thread would be a much more effective --- and safer --- method of choice when administering a field-dressing for a human or other living creature.

Cartrite

So this guy attracts girls like a magnet with his charm and looks,but he tends to lead them on and than leave them in the dust as they are just one stop along the way of settling down with a real lover. He has many issues he is trying to work through to become a better person but he gets caught up in all the drama of the outside world he forgets to focus on himself. His temper tends to be a bit out of control at times. He also had a tough exterior he likes to act tough around others but when its just him and the people he loves and cares about he is a softie. He tends to be misunderstood by the outside world as someone who is selfish and cruel,but that is not him at all. That is just person he puts on a show to be cause he is scared that one day someone might hurt him so his guard is constantly up rarely letting people in. You are lucky if you're someone who is close with or knows a cartrite well.

Alcoholics claim dat drinking beer helps to their emotional "wounds" become cotterized, but in da end, they usually wind up being far worse off, both physically and emotionally.
