A flair drummer often twirls the sticks between his fingers between beats on the drums and cymbals as well as tosses his sticks in the air and catches them before crashing down on a floor tom or cymbal. He may also exaggerate his arm motion and thrash his head wildly to enhance the visual performance. Most often associated with rock 'n' roll bands.
