An app by ByteDance where one can make 3-15 second or 3-60 second videos. Also an incredible time-waster as it is literally so entertaining that I can spend hours on TikTok while thinking only 10 minutes have passed.
TikTok is also very inclusive of LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, etc. creators! It does have some gross Trumpies and homophobes, but TikTok does have good people and a lot of good content.

TikTok is a Chinese video-sharing social networking service owned by ByteDance. It is used to create short music, lip-sync, dance, comedy and talent videos of 3-15 seconds, and short looping videos of 3-60 seconds. Over the last two years, it has amassed a large amount of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC creators and has a wide variety of videos, on topics like politics, cooking, art, and dance.
If the people with the Instagram explore page humor scared you, and you don't want TikToks of shirtless children lipsyncing to Sweatshirt, pure logic can help you simply move your greasy little finger over to the follow button of creators you actually like, or the "Not Interested" button on videos you don't like.

Despite what unfunny incels and musty Redditors would like you to believe, there is a lot of good content on TikTok.

An China-based app owned by ByteDance where one can create 3-15 or 3-60 second videos. As it was originally musical.ly, the app has gotten much hate as people connect stereotypes of musical.ly to stereotypes of TikTok and some dipshits are absolutely convinced that TikTok is full of furries and little girls doing the renegade in very short miniskirts. In reality, if one had simply downloaded the app and liked a couple videos (to get their for you page to cater to their interests), they would realize that it's fairly entertaining.
People who still hate on TikTok have the colorful personality of a spoon. It is 2020, good lord, grow the fuck up and stop hating on things you haven't even bothered to try.

A YouTuber that 8 year olds still find funny.
She used to be genuine and funny, but now her jokes mostly consist of "Straight white men bad". As a female of color I'm all for LGBT+, Indian, and female representation, but ironically, her labeling every straight white men as bad is racist and sexist.
She constantly pretends to be a Jamaican person, which is also incredibly racist.
She is the host of a show called "A Little Late With Lilly Singh", which got canceled after the first season because of how shit it was.
