It's when you grab a girl by her neck and turn it a quarter of the way around when she gets out of line. Usually used in the middle of the night or in public places. Usually you would enjoy screaming while doing it so she knows you mean business.

A euphemism for quarterbacks who are usually African American, and who possess superior foot speed and agility as compared to their White counterparts. Often used by sports media as a backhanded critique of their intelligence.

For mobile quarterbacks, the guy's fun to watch. But he can't read defenses any better than he can read a Dr. Suess book.

quarter trick

(n)- a now old style of shoplifting technique where there are two groups of people used in a shoplifting scheme. The first goes into a store and rips off sensor tags on merchandise (usually clothing or small stuff) and puts it back on the display pile. They leave a quarter or a penny or something to notify that the stuff is clean to grab. The second group comes in maybe a half hour/hour later and looks for the quarters (or pennies sometimes) on the floor or on the display racks and swipes the de-tagged items.
