one who consults Wikipedia to reinforce a point in a debate but refuse its validity when used against them in a debate as a credible resource.

a man debating sea otter habits tries to use Wikipedia to sway a debate to his favor only to find that Wikipedia had statements contrary to his debate and in reaction, the man dicounts the information obtained calling in to question the validity of the information due to the nature of Wikipedia sources being everyday users is a wikicrit.

wikipolice

When you edit a page on wikipeadia and write a load of shit that dosnt mean anything or add random rude words in to pharagraphs. After a few times the wikipolice will notice this and ban you from editing any pages on wikipeadia. If you get away with this then you have evaided the wikipolice.

wikistracted

Becoming distracted for extended periods of time by clicking around Wikipedia. Goes hand in hand with tabbed browsing.

Slappy only wanted to check the population of Slovenia, but became wikistracted for several hours.

Lisa was filling out her tax returns online when she became severely wikistracted, causing her to miss the deadline.

Mark was so wikistracted he didn't even notice the parade of pornstars in the office.

Portmanteau of Wiki and "waylaid"; the act of checking a fact in a wiki leading to reading about something mostly unrelated via links in articles.

I'm tired cause Igot wikilaid lastnight; I was just goingto check when Helen Keller was born and then it was 3 am and I was reading about Transformers characters!

A deviation from an original wikipedia look up, and finding something completely unrelated, yet interesting.

While trying to find information on sea monkeys on Wikipedia, I took a wikidetour and discovered that Hawaii used to be called the sandwich islands.

Hopping from one internal link to another on Wikipedia to get from an unrelated random article to a pre-selected article in the least amount of links you can. Usually undertaken whilst you should be engaging in other, more relevant activities.
