heat nap

A term used by people who do not have an air-conditioner or choose not to use one in the fear of a high bill. A heat nap is when a person decides to nap until sunset when the temperature falls to a more comfortable state.

Moe: So what are your plans for the day?
Mona: My air-conditioner and and fan broke so I have no choice but to take a neat nap . Could you wake me up at 7 p.m?
Moe: Yea sure.

meat nap (n): The nap one takes after ingesting a large amount of meat. Usually preceded by meat sweats.

Dave took an awesome meat nap after that all you can eat BBQ dinner.

focalin nap

The term focalin nap describes an event that takes place after a patient who has an actual ADHD/ADD diagnosis takes a Focalin pill, and falls asleep within 30-45min for a short amount of time.

Focalin is a stimulant medication and helps MOST PEOPLE stay up all night bouncing off the walls. So focalin naps are usually baffling to people.

I was about to engage in a task that requires my attention. Therefore, I consumed a 10mg focalin pill. Upon arriving to my place of study, I went over the covers and took a focalin nap.

My friend who is non-ADD took one and he's bouncing off the walls and having heart palpitations. He is not a candidate for focalin naps.

The art of catching forty winks, specifically whilst 'working' from home. A staple during the world's most deadliest pandemic.

Or to have many a micro sleep in short succession; nappy naps.

I can't get hold of Gary on the home office line. Why is nobody picking up the phone to the custies... customers I know, he is either watching bargain hunt or he is having a nappy nap.
