This is where documents procrastinate after apathetic organization has rodented (is that a word yet? I mean ferreted and squirreled are verbs, but there are plenty of rodents that succinctly define the behavior) them away to an innocuous corner of of an administrative employee's office.

How did you find the Jonathon estate contract? That wasn't in his folder.

I just dug it out of the rathole file. Looks like the last signature on it is five years old.

D-Day File

An off-site file, thumb drive, or backup server with highly sensitive information to be used in the event of litigation, hostile work environment, EEOC claim, termination, a drop-dead-date, deadline or death. Information that is usually used by a whistleblower or other insider to seek justice or self-protection from incrimination by association. Also referred to as plan b, a burn file, or a scorched earth policy.

The Watergate scandal had insider information from Deep Throat. He provided detailed information on corruption within the Presidential Administration.

It is presumed that Lois Lerner, who is seeking immunity, has a D-Day File, now that the IRS has destroyed evidence in the IRS corruption scandal.

fiend

A relatively short person, generally they are just taller than hobbits. They tend to group together to attack unsuspecting hobbits who have done nothing to bother them. Sometimes fiends breakup into smaller groups and are more terrifying since they seem to be everywhere at once. They can be identified by wearing brightly coloured shirts that clash with their outfits. Some have a limited vocabulary. Some are shy and refrain to just staring. Some have a very pineapple-y / tree-ish apperance.

Ahh! Fiends! Woosh!
