aburption

this is when a burp begins normally but somehow ends with the presence of a ususally red-ish slimy substance (most likely regurge-d food, but who knows?) in the mouth or splattered on a nearby flat surface. aburptions are often triggered by a startling, usually negative occurrence.

after a day of pounding diet cokes and putting too much tabasco on my dinner i had an aburption in the car when christina aguilera's 'you are beautiful' came on the radio suddenly.
