Skinstad is a Norwegian term, from the word “skin” and “stad”. It’s when your skinny and insist on skiing on skin-skis no matter what the conditions. It’s when your skiing on skin-skis with attitude and is «owning» the place (in Norwegian we say «stad», which means place or city in nynorsk).

A teenage girl who's very up-class in her high school years.
