fgd

Abbreviation for fairy god daughter. Written in lower-case so as not to confuse with FGD (Fairy God Dad). A fgd is not a replacement for real family, but a girl whose qualities make you wish she was your real daughter. They are a supportive, kind and giving friend, usually born a generation apart. One is very lucky to have a genuine fgd.

Bronte is the most beautiful, caring and kind fgd he could hope for.
