Post-Final Syndrome

The clinical term for the lack of motivation that accompanies being done with college finals. Symptoms involve sleeping for unparalleled amounts of time, failure to interact with friends or loved ones, and feeling generally unmotivated.

PFS is known to last anywhere between two and four weeks. There is no known cure, but PFS is luckily almost never fatal. Symptoms recur even after repeated exposure to college finals, suggesting that the human mind cannot adapt to these circumstances.

I haven't seen Josh for weeks; he must be sleeping off his Post-Final Syndrome.

The Final Countdown

A movie from 1980 about the USS Nimitz going through a time warp to December 6th, 1941. Once they accept their situation, they try to stop the Japanese from bombing Pearl Harbor. They are pulled back into the time warp before they can stop the attack, returning 2 days after they left.

Starring Kirk Douglas, Martin Sheen, Katherine Ross and Charles Durning.

The Final Cut

A Pink Floyd album from 1983. The last album to feature bassist/vocalist Roger Waters before he left the band in 1985. Also the band’s first album not to feature keyboardist Richard Wright, since he was fired by Roger when they were touring The Wall in 1980 and ‘81. The band was falling apart when they were making this album and Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour hated eachother and hardly spoke to eachother.
