gossip hound

Someone who gossips incessantly. Usually a person with no life of their own, who enjoys wreaking social havoc amongst others. So completely untrustworthy, they cannot be trusted with even the most trivial of information. Often observed carrying a cell phone, and can text message at warp speed. Most often observed in females, but may include gay men.

"My girlfriend got overly drunk at the party, and fell down the stairs. Thanks to a gossip hound, by the next afternoon, everybody in school knew about it."

toxic gossip train

A phrase used by content creators that is usually used to create a narrative of hate and negativity to distract from their actions, downplay their wrongdoings, or refrain from taking accountability for their exposed misdeeds. This phrase may be used during CSGO lottery sites for children, desperate dms to minors, and years of weird and predatory behavior toward children. This phrase may be recited in Iambic pentameter or hastily scrapped together with a ukulele and awkward glances to the camera.

Person A: "You have been accused of grooming and taking advantage of your fans, who are mostly minors."

Person B: "I didn't do it."

Person A: "Do you have evidence?"
Person B: *Pulls out ukulele* "♭♭The toxic gossip train♭♭..."

Gossip Collateral

When two friends both know so many of each others' secrets that they both know neither one of them will tell, or the other one will tell in revenge. For example: Friend A knows X about friend B, and friend B knows Y about friend A. Therefore, if friend A reveals X, friend B may reveal Y, and vice versa. Thus, the security of their respective secrets is mutually guaranteed. Generally, the secrets in question are of equal or near-equal magnitude. For instance, cheating on a partner might be equivalent to a well-hidden drug habit or closet bulimia, whereas a crush would be a lower magnitude.

Becca told Rachel about her secret crush, and didn't have to worry about her telling, because she had Rachel's secret crush as gossip collateral.

Gossip Girl Syndrome

The act in which an individual dramatizes or completely lies about scenarios to make their banal lives resemble the CW show “Gossip Girl”. These outlandish stories typically involve the topics of money, business, scandals, cheating, sex, and drugs to an exaggerated point. Those with this diagnosis will also go out of their way to prove they are "rich" and lead much more interesting and scandalous lives than you (when in reality they don't).

Gia: Yesterday Megan was talking about she apparently slept with her dad's co-worker than blew half the money in her trust fund shopping, I think she's lying..
Margot: Definitely Gossip Girl Syndrome as well.
