Bredin

Bredin is a cross between breakfast and dinner, it's either an early dinner or a late breakfast. Only to be used amongst the northerners (mainly Yorkshire folk) as the southerners use the words breakfast, lunch, dinner. Hence the word "brunch".

(Jamaican Patois, MLE, n.) A word to refer to one's friends. Also can refer to relatives in some cases. Comes from the English word "brethren", a word for one's relatives.
