Abbreviation for the pharmeceutical named Quaalude. It was used in the 1960s and 1970s as an anxiolytic, for the treatment of insomnia, and as a sedative. It became highly popular for recreational use in the 1980's, particularly in California. The active ingredient is Methaqualone, a depressant which is now a schedule 1 substance in the United States. It is still available for prescription in Canada.

Luddingtonite

A term for fans of English actress Camilla Anne Luddington who is known for playing Dr. Jo Wilson on ABC's hit Medical Drama 'Grey's Anatomy' and is Tomb Raider for the 2013 video game. Luddington is the first person to provide both the motion capture and voice of Lara Croft in a Tomb Raider Game and is also known for playing Catherine Middleton in the Lifetime TV Movie, William & Kate (2011).
Luddington has also appeared in Showtime's 'Californication' in 2007 and HBO's 'True Blood' in 2008.

The term 'Luddingtonite' combines Camilla's last name with the word 'unite' (from the word 'United' Kingdom), and means just that: fans of Camilla Luddington united. The term was formed by a fan and distributed by another in response to how extraordinary Camilla is. It was coined in order to help identify and unite Camilla Luddington's fans all over the world, to keep them updated of her interviews, television, film and other projects, participation, appearances and other artistic endeavours.

Luddu

A luddu is a girl who is in the popular private school girl click. Thinking that they are too good for everyone else, they talk in luddu language and add "du" or "da" to the ending of almost every word imaginable. Luddus first originated in a small group of high school friends but are quickly growing in the college world. It is very easy to spot a Luddu especially in a bar or club. They are usually the ones dancing nastily, kissing, sucking, or humping on random guys. Dont let a Luddus look's fool you guys. 99.9% of them are infested with some sort of STD. Most Luddus are in a soriority in which they end up becoming lesbian or pregnant before they finish school.
