Core Jobs

"Those jobs that would afford one to live a middle class life in the United States."

Core Jobs is a term coined by Jay Anderson, longtime financial leader in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and the current President and CEO of Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. Anderson has used the term countless times in discussions in the community, in his role as chairman of the Pittsfield Economic Revitalization Corporation and during appearances on media programs, such as Good Morning Pittsfield on WTBR-FM and Pittsfield Community Television. Further context for this description comes as the number of jobs available in the current economy, while providing income for employees, do not offer enough pay and/or benefits to allow an employee to provide for a respectable quality of life. For example, as large retail big box stores continue to expand further and dominate local markets, they have become large employers in the regions in which they are located. However, these retailers (such as Walmart) have been criticized for paying low wages as a part of a profit-enhancing strategy. Jobs in the service sector, including retail, hospitality, and tourism have been often criticized also as the kind of jobs that do not fit the "core job" description.

Jebus Crew

N. A group of ugly or unattractive girls moving in a pack. The collective average rating for this group is around a 3, and the group usually centers around a queen jebus, who is often the charismatic and better looking leader with around a 4 rating. The term is derived from the uncontrollable yelling of "JEBUS" every time a jebus crew is sighted.

Jobsworth

A low ranking official who follows their instructions and procedure to the letter. Often just to piss you off and to make them feel important.

Term derives from the jobsworth mantra "I can't let you do that, it's more than my job's worth".

I'm afraid that all orders must first be placed in writing with the appropriate department before being faxed in triplicate to the following numbers. Once all of the supporting documentation has been received we will then be able to instruct the pre-payment department to advance your application for purchase. etc etc

Brown Joust

A contest of strength, skill, and honor in which two competitors press their anuses firmly together and attempt to force their log into the others rectum. Victory is achieved when one participant's poop lance pushes the other's back the cave from whence it came, where it is joined by the winner's gleaming brown champion turd. A stalemate occurs when the two mahogany butt-trees meet and neither participant's anus yields, resulting in a general sideways pancake-like distribution of waste.

The two young gentlemen held a brown joust to decide who would win the fair maiden's heart.
