Flakebooking

A self-deprecating Facebook status update, intentionally posted to brag, while still appearing humble.

Flakebookers are insecure about bragging, because they know it is tasteless. They have a deep need to be validated by others, but must do it in a sly, undercover sort of way.

"I am so ugly!" Says disgustingly pretty girl in a desperate urge to Flakebook.

"My new TV takes up my whole living room! *sadface*"
Oh ya Seth is flakebooking again. He starts fishing for compliments as soon as he feels bad about himself. It's just his way of coping with his not-so-perfect life.

stealth facebooking

Like regular facebooking, but done in the middle of the night so as to avoid having to speak to someone on that god awful IM service.

I really wanted to add an app, but I didn't want a friend (originally friend of a friend) who has a thing for me to start talking to me, so I went online at 2am to do some stealth facebooking.
