"Hot Chats" refers to banter, debate and/or commentary that is no longer polite or respectful of the normal boundaries of conversation, that occurs amongst friends and usually as a sign of camaraderie. Often 'hot chats' tread into territory which may inadvertently - or completely deliberately - embarrass, expose or diminish those involved or someone else within the known community.
