A lot of brainlets assume that the entire fanbase is cringy, just because of the loud minority, that, A. get off the lewd images of skeletons, goats, fish, etc. , B. ship themselves with Sans (why Sans would never want to be with any of the fangirls, he'd definitely be filing restraining orders left right and center), C. unleash their annoying fanboy rants, with vulgar language, if someone dares say any slightest bit of criticism. I'm sure there's probably more examples, but I'm way too lazy to list any more...
Btw there's a majority of the Undertale fandom (or any fandom, for that matter) that aren't cringy, and just wanna show there amazing fanart, music, comics, whatever!
So the lesson is don't judge things to harshly. (I think that's what the lesson is, eh, whatever...)

This fandom does have a good side although the other side does spread alot. This fandom also once used a word that was disrespectful to a culture and race. Crazy right?? The dumbass who invented this term was most likely someone who bitches about not having enough followers, and to make him/her-self feel better about their lack of acknowledgment, labels everyone who falls under his/her description of "Tumblr famous" as an attention-seeking whore who has gained their fame through their looks.
That idiot, most likely drew this assumption without reading their posts and making an attempt to discover why they have such a large amount of followers.

I honestly don’t know why most of the Tumblr famous people are famous at all. They post stupid shit and add “like a boss” to the end of everything and still get hella notes. Get the falmouth high school mug.A vacation spot for all of USA. Eveyone loves Cape Cod in the summer, even their residents. However, they do notice that nearly every spec of their sand is covered with tourist towels and their roads are populated to the maximum, even the backroads.
Poor Katie, a Falmouth Resident made it into the Old Silver beach parking lot at 9 am after waiting nearly 30 minutes for the beach to open. She laid out and got started on that tan, when she was awoken from her sunning from the kicking of ignorant tourists kicking up sand on her towel and in her face as they set up the umbrella right over her head in her sun... there is no other room on the beach now, and it is 9:15. So Katie leaves, and her usual 8 minute ride home results in 8 phone calls on her cell phone, and 58 minutes later she is home.
