In video games. Sometimes Tool Assisted. When a player completes the game as fast as possible, disreguarding the enviornment, difficulty and minor enemies.

He completed a Speed Run of Resident Evil in 1:23!

You see..I love gaming. I love walk-off homers & head shots, drifting the turn at 100 mph, & boss battles with a 600 ft greek god who may or may not be your father.

Gaming is having a Ridiculously Huge TV while living in a tiny one-room apartment!

Gaming is staying up until 3 AM to earn a trophy/achievement that isn't real...but is!

Gaming is Girls who know that the way to a mans heart is through a Melee attack!

Every gamer is a true gamer. Motion gamers, siting gamers, and even though we may pledge fanboy allegiance under separate flags deep down inside we all serve one master, one king! And his name is, Gaming! FOREVER MAY HE REIGN!

A club that colleges love , but most people hate. Speech and Debaters are classified as geeks, but really they just know what they want- a career. And usually the people that look down upon speech and debate are the retards that are going to be pumping gas in four years anyway - so it doesn't matter

Speedpaint

Despite what most of you probably think, a speedpaint is not recording yourself drawing anything and then speeding it up. A speedpaint is art made in a shorter amount of time, not 100% effort is put into correct proportions, realistic-ness, or getting everything perfect. It's usually done just for practice or when an artist wants to do something in UNDER three hours, haha.

speed goggles

When you're opinion of a member of the opposite sex changes based on how fast he/she is. Very common among top cross-country runners, track athletes, swimmers, etc. Although throwers and jumpers are not basing on speed, but rather throwing or jumping ability, the term "speed goggles" is still applied.

Guy 1- "Man that girl is fine."
Guy 2- "She's decent but you're rockin your speed goggles a little too much"

1. A cartoon mouse from Warner Bros. first appearing in 1953. Speedy Gonzales is known for his oversized yellow sombrero and his incredibly quick running speed.
