Republican

Most of you have it wrong.
Republicans and Democrats first apeeared (or at least as I know of) during the American Civil War, when Democrats were anti-Abolitionists (wanted slavery) and Republicans were Abolitionists (didn't want slavery). Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. Since those times, Democratic and Republican qualities almost switched.

Now for some of the more modern content you probably came here for:

~It's not that we're against freedom of religion, it's just that Christianity is the most common religion of the Republicans.

~The reason we want healthcare cuts is that, prepare yourself, THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS MONEY! I admit, not the best place in the world to cut money from, but there you have it.

~We are against abortion because it's cruel and inhumane. Now, if we're in the case of a pregnant rape victim, there's always adoption! We don't need to kill the baby! If we're in the case of a tubal pregnancy, then it would be reasonable, since it would kill both the mother and child if carried to term.

~We think that countries should be able to take care of themselves without the use of foreign aid. But we know that isn't possible at this point in time.
I hope this definition has helped you learn that Republicans aren't your enemy.

Republican Guard

Elite military unit initially entrusted with guarding the life of the now decesaed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and mostly composed of Saddam's loyal fellow Sunni tribesmen. Evantually, it was expanded and had full fledged infantry and artillery divisions attached to it. During the First Gulf War, it put up a ferocious and determined fight in the face of a massive and all but unstoppable U.S military advance into Iraqi occupied Kuwait, despite being severely outnumbered and outgunned. During the Second Gulf War, however, most members of this elite military force opted to withdraw and melt into the civilian population rather than spned their lives in a futile and suicidal effort to halt the inexorable U.S advance into Baghdad. Although the Republican Gurad was formally disbanded in 2003 by order of the occupying American authorities, many former Republcian Guard members are part of an ongoing insurgency directed at the U.S and its allies in the current Iraqi government, often putting their honed combat skills to good use against unfortunate American soldiers.
A hardened veteran, the former Republican Guard commando easily slew the U.S Marines entrusted with guarding their base from insurgent attacks.

Republican

1. A right wing, usually conservative, in the context of politics. They are often perceived as against many things such as Gay Marriage, affordable health care, and the rights of women. They are typically Christian, and tend to think that this religion should be exempt from the separation of church and state, while accusing people they disagree with of being 'secret Muslims', by which they mean 'terrorist'. These claims are often, if not always, unsubstantiated.

When trying to back up said claims, they often resort to strange and unusual tactics, such as strange pictures that have no real relevance to the subject.

The typical age of a republican is around 50, but the age the typical representative of the party looks is dating somewhere in the mesozoic era, while they are actual not much older than the average. See Dick Cheney.

Republicans shine in times of war, and during these times can often be effective leaders. Having realized this, recent leaders of the party have tried to start wars, some justified, others not so much.
The republicans are blocking all motions in the senate again. Guess they don't agree with the Democrats, or 'terrorists'
