(n.) - A person who portrays themselves like a true friend or confidante but, in reality, don't approve of the person or their actions. Although, they act generally friendly towards said person.

Yeah. Even though Jason hangs out all the time with him, he's always talking about how Trevaren lies and is extremely condescending towards everyone. That's an Anti-Friend.

friend 

A friend is someone with whom you share the fondest of memories....but those that only you will understand .... exchanging mugs of coffee three doors down, a time share cat named Joseph, on the road telephone conversations into the night,cooking Christmas turkey, tequila shooters, and When Harry Met Sally.
A friend is someone that you can snuggle into on the couch and laugh and cry and talk, or do nothing at all.
A friend is someone who is honored with the title of best friend and will always hold it, even though circumstances change around them, time grows scarce, lives grow busy, minds grow forgetful and the opportunities for that closeness are not as available anymore.
A friend breathes deeper and diverse meanings into the word love.
A friend is someone who is always held close in the heart no matter the distance between three houses.

When considering together the earth's gravitational pull, both the quantum theory and the theory of relativity and the sound waves emitted by good and not so good (but nastalgic all the same) 80s music i can quite boldly say....i miss my friend Ben.

friendship

A relationship between two people where one person agrees to make the other person's problems their own. More than often the agreement turns out to be one-sided. This includes lending money, giving rides, emotional support, listening to the other complain or just simply listening to and dealing with the other person's constant bullshit. In actuality, an official agreement was never made to do any of this. Rather a process takes place over time where one party is slowly manipulated into all of the above mentioned acts. Most of the time these relationships eventually end with the main supporter having had enough of the user's ways. However, there are occasionally more extreme cases where the relationship goes on for years, sometimes until death does them part, due to the supporter's own extreme stupidity. In some cases, the situation is so bad that the one party might actually be entitled to claim a dependant when doing their taxes.

"Hey, I know it's midnight and you're in the middle of drinking and having fun but would you stop what you're doing and drive me thirty minutes away to my house? Reason being, I left the cat locked in the bedroom and I need to let her out. Thanks, buddy. I really value our friendship".
