Get the Chug sandwich mug.Playing a riff on an electric guitar that only incorporates heavy-sounding palm muted power chords or less often single notes. Can be played using both down picking and alternate picking for higher speed. Often used in metalcore, deathcore and djent. Usually guitars are tuned low, because as we all know, standard tuning is not djenty nuff, so guitar is usually tuned to drops (6 stringers: Drop C#, Drop C, Drop B and lower; 7 stringers: Drop A, Drop G# and lower).
