Dune Roller

A derogatory term for a flaky non-community-contributing attendee of the Burning Man festival. While this festival has a lot of original artwork, original performance and alternative lifestyles, a "Dune Roller" is there just for the scene, party and overall experience. The worst Dune Rollers are critics of venues without any contribution. (Origin: an analogy to a tumbleweed but heavier and more of a burden.)

Sam, "Is Sandy helping with the Alternative Energy venue this year?"
