A tactico is a football fan (Mainly Manchester United) that thinks they are the prophecy of the game. They usually tend to rate shit players so when they have the odd half-decent performance in a blue moon, they claim they are “ahead of the curve”, milk said performance to the limit and actually convince a few that the shit player in question is any good. They usually hate players like David de gea or ronaldo because they “can’t play in a system” and claim that the club will only move forward once they’ve left, yet rate the likes of Harry maguire for having a few good long balls which usually don’t lead to anything and are only done for aesthetic purposes. they also seemingly only watch football with calculators and not their actual eyes and bring up XG statistics into their day to day conversational life

Normal Fan: “I think Harry maguire has been very poor today, personally I think we should consider selling him”
Tactico: “Shut the fuck up you casual, you just don’t see the game in it’s true light. Did you see his Xfiveyardpasses? He’s going to be very key in the new system”
