Nova-mining (noun): The hypothetical process of using a planet-sized object to collect and process the dust expelled by a supernova explosion in order to create new materials. The term conveys the idea of using advanced technology and resources to harness the energy and materials expelled during a supernova event.

In the future, scientists hope to develop nova-mining techniques to collect and process the materials expelled during a supernova event, in order to create new resources for humanity.

TIN MINING DAY

Tin mining day (stylized as TIN MINING DAY) is a holiday annually taking place on July 17th created by an indie game dev called The Unlucky Dev (or Kid Unlucky) online. Everybody collectively performs an action related to tin. It doesn't necessarily have to be mining tin, but you could use a tin can, make something out of tin foil, even just thinking about it is fine. It is the day to acknowledge the existence of tin and the god of tin, Huptan.
