Only in America do have a Federal holiday to remember what we are thankful for, immediately followed by the largest shopping day of the year to max out our credit cards for the next holiday, Christmas.

Get the Thanksgivingmug. Thanksgiver is a "Thanksgiving" dinner had before the actual day of Thanksgiving. It is usually celebrated by college students who have a dinner with their friends before going home to their family dinners on the day of Thanksgiving, or by people who have their dinner at an earlier date because they must travel on Thanksgiving and prefer to do it without an extremely full stomach.
Sandra decided it was better to have Thanksgiver rather then Thanksgiving because Marshal had to travel on the actual day of Thanksgiving and would not be home.
