Lazy-ass group of percussion members that don't march and get to stay inside during band camp in the air-conditioning. They don't listen for tempo and go at their own pace, which is usually wrong. Often have more fun during practices than those marching on the field.

Band member 1-"It's hot out, I wish I were in the pit"

Band member 2-Yeah, they get to stay inside and play apples to apples"
