lift and carry

When a female physicly lifts someone and then carries him/her around. It usually refers to a woman lifting a man, but it could be a woman lifting a woman, too. The phrase is most often used to describe a fetish for this.

John: Didn't you find it humiliating when that bodybuilder chick picked you up and carried you around the room?

Dean: No, I liked it; I have a lift and carry fetish.

A phrase used to acknowledge something obvious that another has been missing, similar in nature to "Use your head" or "Read between the lines."

Darth Vader: No, I am your father!
Luke: No, that`s not true, that`s impossible!!
Darth Vader: Carry the 1, Luke, I thought it was obvious!

Keep Calm and Carry On

A poster, made in 1939 by the British Ministry of Information to encouage the public to pull through the difficult times in World War II. Although millions of copies were printed, the poster was never really used, and the original designer is unknown.
In 2000 a copy was found in a second-hand bookshop, and, since the copyright had expired, the posters slogan was allowed to be printed on to all kinds of merchandise including copies of the poster, hoodies, mugs, doormats and cusions. As a result, the slogan became very popular and now represents the British attitude to tough and stressful times.

In the recession of the late 2000s, the Keep Calm and Carry On posters gained in popularity, especially among nurses and other professions affected.

As the bombs dropped, the British public sat in their makeshift Anderson shelters, making tea and keeping their spirits high, and continued life as usual.

Carry On My Wayward Son

Greatest song by rock band KANSAS, better than Point of No Return by a longshot. Simple to air guitar to, even easier to sing/improv to. Used in the greatest show on earth, SUPERNATURAL, and regrettably not getting enough attention. Best when sung as a a duet with an amanda, whilst leg-guitaring.

Carry One

Goodbye, peace out, God be with you. Basically salutations of leaving. In an awkward moment of trying to type "Cellar Door" while saying goodbye, The Weav had a hand seizure as per usual. Hence the outcome of Carry One, which has become our new blessing.

The Canadian Carry

When you carry a cup of Tim Hortons coffee/tea/hot chocolate by putting your thumb on the rim of the cup and index and middle fingers on the bottom, because of the extreme heat of the beverage.

The Canadian Carry saved my hand from being scalded on the trip back to the office from Tim's.

How does your hand not feel like it's on fire while carrying a Tim Hortons coffee?
I always use The Canadian Carry.
