A chart-throb is a typical teenage girl's heart-throb, known for his chart-topping music/good looks.
Examples include Justin Bieber, Enrique Iglesias, and Justin Timberlake.

Girl 1: Oooh wow have you seen JB's new music video? He's so hot!
Girl 2: Oh yeah, he's such a chart-throb!

A player of MMORPG's, such as World of Warcraft, that is only concerned with being on the top of the Damage Meter. They do not care for the group and are all about the DPS.
